Because of Steve's on going health  problems he has decided to step down from playing in the group, at least for the time being

Set up and Sang in the first school band aged 16 in which our repertoire evolved from pop/ soul into a blues based group. Later with other groups playing guitar and occasional keys as well as well  as singing. Then, career marriage, children and voluntary work, mainly fundraising, all took over from my main passion which has always been the music.

 

My “ Day job is teaching meditation and Mindfulness which I also love, please see  Meditation Gloucestershire. and my musical needs were satisfied by seeing all my old heroes in gigs, Stones, Cream, Jeff Beck and John Mayall etc and I thought my playing days were over. Then Sue, my wife a keen U3A member told me that Mike was setting up a group via U3A so maybe they were not over after all!. The fact that I can combine my love for music with some fundraising, makes it the perfect fit for me.
